The shortage of IA/INFOSEC professionals holding security clearances grows rapidly. To really accelerate your IA/INFOSEC career you need to retain or reactivate your DoD/INTEL security clearance. To help you earn your INFOSEC Doctorate/MS/Graduate Certificate online and retain or reactivate your security clearance status, the University of Fairfax has established the Information Assurance White Paper Internship (IAWPI). Students who participate in this internship will:

• Learn to develop "decision relevant" IA white papers.
• Improve their IA briefing skills to executives in the DoD or INTEL sectors.
• Develop critical IA leadership skills.
• Reactivate and retain their security clearances for the duration of their internship.
